TIMES AUSTRALIA, PAMEKASAN – Iqmal Yanto, a local guy of Pamekasan, Madura, East Java has been acknowledge by the local community for his skill in graphic design. He even won a local competition and now working as freelance graphic design.

This 21 year old guy started doing his hobby in 2019. He helped his friend in designing their pamphlet for their event. He even only design in with his old Samsung phone.

He also joined some local competitions and won several of them till he got a scholarship from the Minister of Communication and Informatics on their Digital Talent Scholarship 2019 program at one prestigious university in Indonesia Politeknik Negeri Malang.

He started his career as freelance graphic designer in early 2020. As any other starter, he got so many obstacles especially in gaining more customers. Yet, he never stops to try to introduce his products and skill though the internet and his social media account.

"Praise the Lord, I have had more order recently, though it’s not a big one," Yanto said on Monday (24/8/2020).

This freelance graphic designer doesn’t charge his customers much. As long as it’s could bring more advantages for the people around him, he will be gladly help. And he also hop that he could inspire someone else to do the same as him. (*)
