TIMES AUSTRALIA, MALANG – UIN Malang trying to commit themselves as one Smart Islamic Campus. This Islamic university keeps innovate especially towards their service based on technology to make this happen. They also improve their human resources to fit the goal.
This was stated by the Rector of UIN Malang Prof Dr H Abdul Haris, M.Ag, on an online seminars on Wednesday (15/7/2020).
The seminar was also followed by several other keynote speakers such as Assoc. Profesor Universiti Brunei Darussalam Dr Muhammad Anshari and Alfi Asman, the Director of PT Lintasarta and several other panellists.
“As to have a Smart Islamic Campus we have to be smart, smart enough to take care situation and give a good contribution to the constitution,” Prof Haris said.
Still according to him, a Smart Islamic campus must to be able to cope with the fast-changing digital era. “Covid-19 has forced us to cope with this digital technology, we must to take it, like it or not,” he added.
In addition, he also said that not only in universities, every school in this country has been forced to be able to cope with this modern era. However, UIN Malang with their Technical Information Faculty are ready to go for a Smart Islamic Campus. (*)
