TIMES AUSTRALIA, MALANG – UIN Malang would like to take a step further for the future generation. They would like to show that they care and would like to take a role in the children faith in the future starting from the very basic, make sure their parents are well educated.  

In order to celebrate the National Children Day, UIN Malang holds a seminar entitled  Hari Anak Nasional  2020: Anak Terlindungi, Indonesia Maju (National Children Day 2020: Safe Kids Create Prosperous Country) which was held on Thursday (23/7/2020).

“This is one rare situation where a university care for the kids. It could be one and only university in the world that has done this,” The Rector of UIN Malang Prof Dr H Abdul Haris said.

Still according to him, a well-educated mother who knows how to treat her baby since they were in the womb is the key to create a good generation. “I was amazed by the the parents that read some Quran verses or read them a book when the wife is pregnant,” he added.

He also said that it was the first step of educating their children since they are in the womb. There has been lots of research shows that these kinds of things will give a good vibe towards the baby.

Meanwhile, nurturing the baby is also a harder part that the parents should deal with after the baby was born. In this matter, UIN Malang also provides a lactation room, a private space for the where a nursing mother can use a breast pump.
