TIMES AUSTRALIA, SURABAYA – Universitas Dr. Soetomo (Unitomo) Surabaya holds a cooperation for several of their program with Pathumthani University (PTU) Thailand. The MoU was signed on Thursday (25/6/2020) through Zoom conference call.
The MoU was signed by the Rector of Unitomo, Bachrul Amiq and the Vice President of PTU Thailand, Nithima Yuenyong. The ceremony was followed by 300 participants of both universities.
“We always open a chance for any foreign universities to hold a cooperation even during this pandemic,” the 4th Deputy of Unitomo, Meithiana Indrasari who happened to attend the occasion said.
Still according to her, both of universities will do a cooperation in some or their program such as Share Learning Program, Sit In Program, Student Exchange, One + One Program, Journal & Research, Seminar & International Conference, Campus Tour, Cultural Exchange, International Internship, Community Outreach, Languages Centre, Islamic Study, and Customize Programs.
The Rector of Unitomo, Bachrul Amiq hope that the MoU will not only a mere paper. He hope that both universities could do all the program and get the most benefit from each other. Meanwhile, Vice President of PTU Thailand said that both universities still has more to explore besides those ten programs.
“Both, Unitomo and our university opens a chance for any universities who would like to hold a cooperation with foreign universities either for the lecturer or students exchange,” Vice Presiden Pathumthani University (PTU) Thailand, Nithima Yuenyong said. (*)
