TIMES AUSTRALIA, MALANG – Are you busy of thinking which place to go so spare your leisure time? Are you looking for some place which will give you new experienc as well new knowledge in history in Malang? Well themselves four museums could be a perfect place to go. Chek them out!.

1. Brawijaya Museum

This museum has been established since March 4, 1968. This museum displays all artillery vehicles and some old WW II equipments used by the local army to ditch the colonialism and protect this country. Some cars belong to the fist President of Indonesia, Soekarno Hatta were also displayed in this place.
At the front door, you could see some painting of how the situation in the country was. Located at
Jalan Ijen No. 25 A, Malang, you could get in to this museum for a very affordable price, you only need to purchase the ticket for IDR 5 K.

Brawijaya museum opens daily. On Monday to Thursdayit open at at 08.00-14.30 (local western time). Whereas on Friday it's only open a short time at 08.00 to 11.30 (local western times). Meanwhile on Satuday and Sunday it's opened at 08.00-13.00 (local western time).

2. Omah Munir Museum

Munir is human rights activist in the country which was died for being poisoned while he was on board on a plane. The museum consist of his memorial things from his outfit when he was on board and a little bit his biography. This museum is located at Jalan Bukit Berbunga, RT 4/RW 7, Batu. It opens daily except on Monday at 10.00 to 16.00 (local western time).

3. Mpu Purwa Museum

Mpu Purwa is a Buddhist monk during the Kanjuruhan Kingdom years. This museum consists of several heirloom and artifacts from back then such as Ganesha Bunulrejo statue, Brahmana Catur Muka statue, and Prasasti Dinoyo 2. It's located at Jalan Soekarno Hatta, Perumahan Griyashanta blok B No. 210, Malang. You could visit this museum for free at Monday to Saturday on 08.00 - 16.00.

4. Kesehatan Jiwa Museum

Museum Kesehatan Jiwa or mental Health Museum consists of things that they usually used to treat those patients with mental illness at mental hospital. You eill see straight jacket, hydrotherapy,  even some banned conventional wood to lock up the patients freedom.

This museum was a part of Dr Radjiman Widyodiningrat mental hospital which located at Jalan Jendral Ahmad Yani Lawang, Malang. This museum opens on Monday to Friday at 08.00 - 16.00 (local western times), and you could visit this place for free. (*)
