TIMES AUSTRALIA, MALANGSipelot Beach might become a perfect place to go to run from the hustle and bustle of the city. It offers you serenity in solemnity. Little did you know this place had become the witness for the World War II.

The name of the beach itself “Sipelot” was derived from the Dutch which means a place for transit. Yes, the Dutch land on this beach once to rest for a while. 

Other than becoming a place with historical value this place also offer a breathtaking view of emerald green water combined with soft white sand. It also has a calm wave where you could spend more time to play in the water. 

You could also enjoy the beauty of local scenery from the lush green coffee farm to a wide shrimp pond along the coast. All these sceneries make the beach look so impeccable. 

A little bit far to East you will find a beautiful 10 meter waterfall which directly goes to the beach. This is the iconic place that attracts the visitor to coming back to this place. 

You could also have some tour to Watu Gedeg and Watu Payung across the island by renting the local vboat for IDR 50 K.

Though this place isn’t quite popular amongst other beaches in Malang, Sipelot has been equipped with public families. You could easily found a spacious parking lot, praying room, restroom or cafeteria. 

To get in to this place you will need to a small amount of admission fee for IDR 3 K. With all its beauty Sipelot Beach really will bang your buck.
