TIMES AUSTRALIA, MALANG – Kampung Keramik Dinoyo, an iconic place in Malang that will pamper you with all pottery made of ceramic. You could find anything you need from house hold equipment to cute souvenirs.

Located in Dinoyo, Malang, East Java this Kampung (Village) was established on1930’s. “And in around 2000 we decided to make this village as one ceramic tourism village,” Syamsul the Chief of local community said on Monday (24/8/2020).   

Once you reach the kampong, you will be welcome with a huge sign says “Kampung Keramik Dinoyo”. Next to it lays hundreds of ceramic shop that you could visit by hoping from one to another to find the ceramic you want to.

The ceramic price is range from IDR 10-250 K depends on the size and complexity. You could also made a custom ceramic depends on your design and need. The potter made the ceramic of porcelain clay. In a day they could create around 500 ceramic to sell.

You could also learn to make your own ceramic with only IDR 25 K. you will be brought for a tour at their workshop and you will be guided to create your very own pottery.
