TIMES AUSTRALIA, JAKARTA – Minister of Trade Zulkifli Hasan inaugurated the Export School by PPI Dunia at the Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) 2023. The event was held in a hybrid format at Nusantara Hall 1B ICE BSD on Friday (10/20/2023).
This program was held in collaboration between the PPI Dunia and the Indonesian National Export School. IThe purpose was to enhance the Indonesian students skilss in export strategy.
Minister Zulkifli Hasan hopes that the World PPI Export School will be a stepping stone for Indonesia's younger generation to dominate the global export stage. He believes that this educational initiative will serve as a critical platform in equipping students with the knowledge and skills needed for success in the world of exports.
"This program will provide the younger generation with a profound understanding of exports and assist them in becoming future leaders in international trade," Zulkifli said.
The event has garnered significant enthusiasm from Indonesian students worldwide, as they eagerly participate in this initiative to bolster their understanding of exports.
Hamzah Assuudy Lubis, Coordinator of PPI Dunia, revealed that his organization has prepared a series of programs, including Export Ambassadors.

"This school marks the beginning of a series of programs that will equip students with the knowledge they need to become outstanding Indonesian exporters in the future," said Hamzah.
Head of the National Export School, Handito Joewono, expressed his hope that this PPI Dunia's program will produce thousands of new exporters among Indonesian students studying abroad.
"This is a significant step towards our goal of making Indonesia a global export leader by 2045," Handito added.
Amelia Devi Prasanti, Project Leader this program, also noted that this program will be supported by various initiatives, including the "Bincang Perwadag" program with Indonesian trade representatives abroad (Perwadag).
This program will provide practical insights into the export process and marketing strategies in potential target countries.
"We want to ensure that Indonesian students gain a deep understanding of exports and continue to participate in various beneficial programs," Amelia, who also serves as Head of the Bilateral Strengthening Division of the Directorate of Business Innovation Development of PPI Dunia emphasized.
Amelia extended her appreciation to the Export School and Indonesian students living abroad. "We hope that students will actively engage in the Export School byPPI Dunia program and contribute to advancing Indonesia's economy," she concluded. (*)
